tripping over themselves
to amuse you
the little baubles
silver-eyed paillettes,
a fantastic satin glance -
all these things that shine
bright, innocent
beautiful
they fall to earth
so hard so fast.

i would not let the Water Baby out of the house dressed like that...thats why that little girl looks so sad...no one cares enough to tell her to go put some clothes on!
