This on the Muscat Gummy candy bag, just one type of the Japanese candy I bought for the kids tonight:
"Its translucent color so alluring and taste and aroma so gentle and mellow offer admiring feelings of a graceful lady."

Can't help it..."Gotta get me a piece o' that".
Yes, I prefer my translucent candy to be alluring as well.
Muskrat candy?
UM - It's pure Muskrat Love.
The Captain and Tenille for President!
UM - Or America! or the guy who actually wrote the song, Willis Alan Ramsey (an Austin boy who, despite his most famous offering, wrote a really beautiful country album back in the 70s that no one has ever heard of, but is totally worth buying. no, he's not my uncle).
The early 70's music scene around Austin was very cool. My favorite Ramsey tune is "The Ballad of Spider John"... He's the man with the loaded hand.
Steve - I'm partial to the song about Missoula, but Spider John's up there. It's a truly great album.
this is going too far back for my Ganlia depleted brain... i will have to revisit this one, as we used to say, "fer sure"!
